ANNE KEENE, President & Founder
Anne Keene, Crossnore's founder and president, has enjoyed a 20-year career across all disciplines of the communications sector including work as a broadcast journalist; a radio news and television documentary researcher; press secretary and speechwriter in both Congress and a presidential administration; and account management roles in both the public relations agency (Tracy-Locke PR) and corporate sides (Fannie Mae) of corporate communications. A talented writer who excels at telling clients’ stories and relating to the media, Anne leads the message development, writing and media planning/outreach aspects of Crossnore client engagements. She manages the firm and specializes in marketing for universities and senior living media with a focus on health care, winning international and industry awards for creative concepts. Keene was recently appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve on the nine-member Texas Historical Records Advisory Board dedicated to the preservation of the state's archives and documentary heritage. The term expires in 2015. |

RUSS KEENE, Partner
Russ Keene’s expertise includes public affairs advocacy strategy, corporate positioning and media relations. Russ joined Crossnore Group in summer 2008 after leading the Austin office of global public relations firm Burson-Marsteller for five and one-half years. At Burson, and before joining Burson at the Washington-based international business advisory firm Kissinger-McLarty Associates, Russ advised some of the country’s leading brands on business development, communications and government relations strategy. Russ’ earlier career included communications and government relations positions in Texas and Washington with Aetna, American Gas Association and Enserch Corp. He has held management positions in attorney general, gubernatorial, state legislative and presidential campaigns. Russ is the senior account director on all Crossnore clients and manages the UIL Holdings Corp. and Plug-In Texas client work.

BERGAN CASEY, Senior Advisor
Bergan Casey brings to the table almost 20 years of experience managing public relations and public affairs information campaigns. Through her own communications firm, Bergan has managed non-profit and corporate clients like the Headliners Foundation of Texas, Texas Cultural Trust Council and Scott & White Healthcare System. Her strengths include media relations, writing and editing support, event planning, and strategic communications planning. Earlier in her career, Bergan was an account executive with Christian-Hubble Media & Communications in Austin and she worked in London for public relations firm, Rowland Worldwide, followed by several years with Selz-Seabolt Communications in Washington DC. Bergan works for Crossnore on the Westminster Manor and Hart InterCivic accounts. Bergan works for Crossnore on the Westminster Manor and City of Cedar Park accounts.

GARY RASP, Senior Advisor
For more than 25 years, Gary Rasp has provided communications services to a variety of private corporations, public entities and not-for-profit organizations. Gary is a talented writer and developer of messages with solid state and national media relationships. A former print journalist, Gary was also a press secretary to a Texas gubernatorial candidate and a Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. As a vice president at Public Strategies and in eight years with Burson-Marsteller’s Austin office he worked with clients representing a cross section of industries and public policy issues, including transportation, energy, and technology, as well as several state agencies on a variety of public affairs and public education campaigns. Gary co-leads the UIL Holdings Corp. and Plug-In Texas client engagements for Crossnore, in addition to his own consulting work.

GREG TALLEY, Senior Advisor
Greg Talley leverages more than two decades of experience in government agencies, non-profit associations and trade organizations to work on behalf of Crossnore’s corporate and association clients seeking to build community relations outreach activities and cohesive public affairs programs. He is a principal in his own firm as well, which specializes in coalition campaigns and community relations activities. He has worked for U.S. Senators from Louisiana and Texas, as well as for a Texas governor. Greg has also served as president of an insurance trade group and worked with the Austin-based public relations firm McDonald PR on numerous advocacy initiatives. Greg works with clients Ciphent, Plug-In Texas and Texas Ethanol.

ANNETTE GOLEMI, Associate
Annette joined Crossnore Group in 2012 with expertise in writing, media relations, event coordination and social network media. Annette’s primary responsibilities include client research, traditional and social media monitoring, developing media outreach materials and strategic communication. Annette works with City of Cedar Park, Great Stuff, Inc., Plug-In Texas and Westminster Manor accounts, and provides support to all Crossnore client teams. Prior to joining Crossnore Group, Annette served as a post-graduate public relations intern for another local Austin public relations firm. Annette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations with a business minor from Louisiana State University.
